Obituary of Arturo R. Aguila

Mr. Arturo R. Aguila of Elk Grove and former resident of Lodi passed away Saturday April 14, 2007 in a Sacramento hospital at the age of 51. Mr. Aguila was born December 27, 1955 in Tijuana B.C., Mexico to Manuel and Rosa Aguila. Art owned and operated Accurate & Reliable Trucking Co. in Elk Grove for the past 2 years. He previously worked for Flash Trucking Co. in Modesto. Mr. Aguila was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elk Grove and was a former member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lodi. He was an avid reader and has a talent for repairing electronic equipment. He also enjoyed fishing, listening to music and working on "Big Rig" trucks. He will be best remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and true friend. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Sharmila Aguila of Elk Grove, 2 sons, Zacariah and Javier Aguila of Elk Grove; 2 daughters, Marcela Aguila of Elk Grove; Christina Aguila of Lodi; 3 brothers, Ernesto Manuel Aguila of Woodbridge; Carlos Miguel and Jim Mark Aguila of Elk Grove; Gerardo Ramos of Galt; 2 sisters Ramona Gonzalez of Woodbridge and Irma Ramos of Stockton. 2 grandchildren, Cristian and Jeremy Brown of Lodi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Rosa Aguila and a brother Ignacio R. Aguila A church service will be held Friday April 20, 2007, 10:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elk Grove, followed by interment at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Sacramento. A rosary will be held Thursday 6:00pm at the Lodi Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday 12:00-8:00pm at the Lodi Funeral Home.
