Obituary of Linda Marie Cristofani

Linda Cristofani, age 89, passed away on April 27, 2007. Linda Marie Lippi was born October 11, 1917 in McCloud, California. After graduating from McCloud High School, she attended UC Berkeley for two years, then returned to McCloud upon the sudden passing of her mother, Felicita. In June, 1939, she married A.A. (Cris) Cristofani, and they enjoyed sixty full years of marriage. Cris worked for the Bank of America, and after several transfers with the Bank, and home moves, they settled in Lodi in 1953. Linda was an active member of the Woodbridge Golf & Country Club since 1962. She was also a member of the Lodi Women's Club and the Wednesday Club. In addition she was active with many other organizations over the years, including Lodi High School, PTA and The March of Dimes. She and Cris traveled to Europe and Hawaii many times. Her favorite pastimes were playing golf at Woodbridge, bridge with various groups, following the S.F. giants and crosswords puzzles at home. She is survived by her three children, son David and his wife, Ann, son, Gary, and son Dennis and his wife Susan; grandson Michael and granddaughters, Jennifer and Rachel; in addition, her longtime neighbors and close friends, Bud and Anita Callan and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.A. (Cris) Cristofani; two sisters, Bina Isham and Carol Cecchettini and one brother, Louis Lippi. Services will be held on Tuesday on May 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Lodi Funeral Home followed by committal at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. All friends and acquaintances are welcome to attend.
