Obituary of Theodore S. "Ted" Ross

Theodore "Ted" S. Ross of Stockton passed away in Stockton on May 2, 2007 at the age of 88. Mr. Ross was born in New York on March 18, 1919. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1937 - 1945, during World War II. He belonged to the Teamsters Union, working at many different jobs until he retired. He lived in Stockton for over 60 years. He was a history buff, interested in the Marine Corps history. He enjoyed boating, fishing and spending time at Larsen's Marine in Stockton as well as rescuing and caring for many stray animals. Mr. Ross is survived by his son, James (Connie) Ross of Kansas; daughter, Charlotte Grogan of Lockeford; three grandchildren, Michael Ross and Kenny Ross and Stasy (Erik) McFarland and one great-granddaughter, Nastashia Pipik. He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Ross in 1993. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 4, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. There is no visitation.
