Obituary of Marilyn Elithorp

Marilyn Frances Elithorp was born June 22, 1921 in Ports Mouth, Iowa. She passed away peacefully at home with her family on May 7, 2007. She was 85. A longtime Acampo resident, Marilyn loved to spend time in her flower garden, she also enjoyed cooking for her family especially for the holidays, but her true love was spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She is survived by her sons; Bruce Elithorp of Sacramento and Gregory Elithorp of Wilton. Granddaughters; Julie Elithorp-Long and her husband Rick of Washington, and Rebecca Elithorp of Sacramento, and her Great-granddaughter Gwyneth Long of Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband Irving Elithorp and her sister Pauline Carlsen-Heard. Friends may visit Wednesday from Noon until 6 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave., and are invited to attend Graveside Funeral Services on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Lodi Memorial Cemetery, 5750 E. Pine St., Chaplain Tony Berry will officiate.
