Obituary of Joan M. Zemansky

Mrs. Joan M. Zemansky of Isleton and former resident of Sacramento passed away unexpectedly Saturday May 19, 2007 in a Sacramento hospital at the age of 69. Mrs. Zemansky was born January 3, 1938 in Monterey, California to Woodrow and Helen Derryberry. Joan worked as a Paralegal for Legal Services of Northern California (a non-profit legal service provider) in Sacramento for 21 years before retiring in 2005. Joan loved the outdoors and was an avid swimmer and diver. She also enjoyed boating, sun bathing, tending to her cats and spending time with family and friends. She will be best remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Ray Zemansky of Isleton; 2 sons, Barry Webb and wife Jennifer of Arizona City, Arizona; Bryan Webb of Reno, Nevada; 1 daughter Tracey R. Paxson and husband John of Puyallup, Washington; 1 sister, Claudia Gallagher of Novato; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday May 26, 2007, 11:00am at the Lodi Funeral Home.
