Obituary of Betty Jean Haynes

Betty Jean Haynes of Lodi, passed away in Lodi on May 31, 2007 at the age of 83. Mrs. Haynes was born in Waterloo, Iowa on September 28, 1923 to LaVon and Gladys Ham. She married William Haynes on January 31, 1940. They moved to Hayward, California in 1965. Later they moved to Fremont, then Sonoma, settling in Lodi in 1981. She enjoyed crafts, but her greatest love was people, particularly her family. She was a beloved mother and grandmother, and she will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Mrs. Haynes is survived by her four sons; Ronald (Ita) Haynes of Lodi, Thomas (Barbara) Haynes of Modesto, John (Sherry) Haynes of Modesto and Mark (Diane) Haynes of Manteca; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Haynes; sister, Pat Brown; two brothers, Bob and Bill Ham and great-grandson, Ethan Andrews. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204-1953. The family would life to thank Hospice very much for all of their care.
