Jean Margaret Cotton, age 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 28, 2007. She was born in Chico, CA on November 7, 1926, and has lived in Stockton for the past 60 years. Jean taught Home Economics at Lincoln High School, Tailoring at S.J. Delta College and worked at Campbell's in the Village. She enjoyed being the secretary of the Stockton Art League, was an avid reader and loved being with her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willard A. Cotton. She is survived by her children, Bruce of Corvallis, OR, Neal of Stockton, Karen Burns of Lockeford, Diana Bryan of Yorktown, VA., 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. There will be a private family memorial. Donations may go to Hospice of San Joaquin 3888 Pacific Ave. Stockton,CA 95204-1953 in her memory.
