Obituary of Elizabeth Solari

Mrs. Elizabeth A. Solari of Lodi and former long time resident of Morada passed away Thursday August 2, 2007 in a Lodi hospital at the age of 90. Mrs. Solari was born May 4, 1917 in Stockton California to Pete and Giatanna Rubino. Mrs. Solari alongside her husband the late John F. Solari owned and operated their family farm in Morada for many years, she also worked as a Teachers Aide as well as a Nursery School Teacher for the Morada-Davis School and the Morada Oaks Nursery before retiring in 1979. Mrs. Solari was a member of the Waterloo Morada Women's Volunteer Fireman's Auxiliary, Past President of the Davis School PTA, and a Volunteer for the Morada-Davis 4-H. Mrs. Solari enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She will be best remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by 2 sons, John Solari and wife Ardella of Lodi; Larry Solari and wife Deirdre of Carmel; a daughter Sharon Shinn and husband William of Lodi; a brother Frank, Rubino of Stockton; a sister Rose Freggario of Stockton, 8 grandchildren, Kevin, Christopher, Ryan and Bradley Solari, Deenen Felix, John Shinn, Pam Warrick and Erin Solari-Deegan, 11 great grandchildren, Carissa, Kyle, Emma and Kenneth Solari, Reilly and Cooper Deegan, Ricky and Garrett Warrick, Zack, Isabella and Sophia Felix. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, John Fredrick Solari Sr. in 2000, one brother and five sisters. A chapel service will be held Monday, August 6, 2007, 1:00 pm at the Lodi Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1212 W. Robinhood Dr., Stockton, CA. 95207 or the Children?s Home of Stockton, P.O. Box 201068, Stockton, CA. 95201. Interment will be private.
