Obituary of Durward Fayo Winn

Durward Fayo Winn, of Lodi passed away in Lodi on August 2, 2007 at the age of 95. Mr. Winn was born in Leon, Kansas on January 19, 1912 to John Edward and Loko Iva Winn. He moved to Napa in 1937 and worked for Kaiser Steel in shipbuilding for 25 years before retiring. In 1992 he moved to Lodi. He enjoyed playing cards and fishing, but most importantly, he was very devoted to his family. He was a beloved father and grandfather, and he will be so missed. Mr. Durward is survived by his daughter, Nona Preuss of Lodi; son, Donald (Marie) Winn of Port Orchard, Washington; eight grandchildren, Debbie (Bill) Baggett, Steve (Lori) Orr, Keith (Kathy) Orr, Kathy (Nick) Brunelli, Mike Winn, Matt Winn, Martin (Traci) Winn and Lori Winn; fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Dot Branham of Cottage Grove, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Winn in 1997; two brothers, Chubb Winn and Eric Winn and one sister, Noreen Bartlett. Friends are invited to visit Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Lodi Memorial Cemetery.
