Although I only knew Mr. Shinn for a short time, I feel my life has been enriched by hearing his words of wisdom about growing grapes, the harvest of them, and farming in general. I really enjoyed fixing some of his evening meals, as he was always so appreciative and pleasant. My condolences to Steve and his family, and to his dear friend, Rosa.
