Though a Step-Father, with a full quiver of family of his own, Dorance embraced me as his own and demonstrated a love and commitment to my mother and I greater than I had experienced before. A leader of men, with character and dignity few men could equal. A seeker of truth. A sensitive soul. A keen intellect. Eloquent. I liked him, and shall miss him. We shared a faith in Jesus. We will meet again
