Erma Fay (Dollie) Bradley of Lodi passed away in Lodi on September 26, 2007 at the age of 83. Mrs. Bradley was born in Ottertail County, Minnesota to Ray and Emma Rogers on March 27, 1924. She moved to California in 1941, and went to work at the Richmond Shipyard. It was there that she met and married the love of her life, John Bradley. They were married on February 13, 1945. She also worked at Beckman Instruments in Richmond from 1961-1963. During this time, she and her husband started to buy vineyard property in the Lodi area. It was their dream to farm, and this they eventually did after moving to Lodi in 1971. She enjoyed gardening and loved to collect antiques; but most importantly, she loved to cook for her grandchildren and nurture her family. She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church in Lodi and an active member in the Women of the Moose in Lodi. She will best be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be so missed. She is survived by her two daughters, Penny Giordano of Lodi and Debra (Johnny) Angoco of Lodi; four grandchildren, Jeff McLean of Acampo, Jill Jespersen of Lodi, Tim (Teri) Jespersen of Alabama and Sean Angoco of Lodi; five great-grandchildren, Shelby, Jacob, Cory, Chadwick and Sarah; siblings, Gertie Welden of Idaho, Alyce Schuster of North Dakota and Lola (Don) Freitag of North Dakota, Eugene Rogers of North Dakota, Eileen (Harvey) Willprecht of Minnesota and Forrest (Becky) Rogers of Nevada. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Bradley; siblings, Edith Peterson, Florence Kiser, Maxine Munson, Chauncey Rogers and Ray Rogers. Friends are invited to visit at Lodi Funeral Home on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Tuesday at First United Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Bradley's name to The American Cancer Society, Lodi Unit, 207 East Alpine Avenue. Stockton, CA 95204.
