Obituary of Jerry W. Brown

Mr. Jerry W. Brown of Galt passed away unexpectedly Monday October 1, 2007 in his residence at the age of 50. Jerry was born December 1, 1956 in Tulare, California to Eugene and Marlene Brown. Jerry owned and operated Jerry Brown Farmers Insurance Agency in Lodi for 26 years; he loved his clients as though they were family. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing, watching football, and spending time with family and friends. He will be best remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather as well as for his great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Toni Brown of Galt; 2 sons, Jeffrey Brown and wife Jennifer of Walled Lake, Michigan; Jason Brown of Galt; 2 daughters, Jennifer Sawyer and husband Frank and Jaclyn Aguilar and husband Carlos both of Galt; mother Marlene Doughty; 3 brothers, Dennis Brown of Acampo; Rick Brown of Lodi; Tim Brown of Sacramento and 7 grandchildren; Austin, Nathaniel, and Madison Sawyer, and Brittney, Junior, Antonio, and Michael Aguilar. A chapel service will be held Friday October 5, 2007, 10:00 A.M. at the Lodi Funeral Home, followed by interment at the Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday 12:00-8:00pm at the Lodi Funeral Home.
