Obituary of Ann Rose Angelo

Ann Rose Angelo of Lodi, passed away on October 20, 2007 at the age of 87. Mrs. Angelo was born in Dunlo, Pennsylvania on March 8, 1920 to Anthony and Rosalie Lovetro. She was married in 1941 to Domenic Angelo in Pennsylvania. They moved to Burlingame in 1952. During their lifetime in the Bay Area, they lived not only in Burlingame, but also in San Bruno, San Jose and San Mateo, where they lived from 1965 until May of 2000, at which time she moved to Napa. She came to Lodi in 2004. Mrs. Angelo enjoyed bingo, gardening, and she was very active in church; but most importantly, she was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughters, JoAnn (Lewis, "Dan", Sr.) Mayo and Donna Marie Angelo, both of Lodi; four grandchildren, Tere (George, Jr.) Wilson, Lewis Daniel (Emily) Mayo, Jr., Vickie (Tony) Clark and Steve (Michelle) Mayo; seven great-grandchildren, Nathian, Ashley, Lewis Daniel, III, Olivia, Taya, Mia and Leslie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Domenic Angelo on November 19, 1989; three brothers, Samuel, Emil and Joseph Lovetro and one sister, Caroline Maiorana. Friends are invited to visit Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Committal will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. In lieu of flowers family, requests that memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Angelo's name to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204-1953.
