Obituary of Gordon Vincent Becerra

Gordon Vincent Becerra, a long-time resident of this area, passed away in Lodi on November 2, 2007 at the age of 57. Mr. Becerra was born in San Francisco, California on May 11, 1950 to Jerry and Adele Becerra. He was employed as a pump technician, most recently for Noack. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. He was passionate about music. He sang and played the guitar, as well as many other instruments. He is survived by his two sons, Gabriel (Lupe) Becerra, Sr., of Acampo and Andre Angelo Becerra of Lockeford; eight grandchildren, Gabriel, Jr., Emiliano, Naydeen, Priscilla, Andre, Jr., Ruby, Andrea and Airianna; mother, Adele Neves of Nevada; two brothers, David Becerra of Fremont and Rick Becerra of Nevada; one sister, Diane (Rick) Rinehart of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Becerra and sister, Anita Marie Garcia. Friends are invited to visit Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Committal will be private.
