Eugene William Balding, age 76, went to be with the Lord August 4, 2020. He was born December 21, 1943 in San Bernardino, CA to Erma Valpreda Balding and Lester Balding. He attended Chaffey and Anaheim high schools. Gene enjoyed playing and coaching baseball. His early career was in the auto industry. Later in life he was a race horse trainer for 20 years which was his true passion. He is survived by his son Bryon and daughter Brenda; grandchildren Shelby, Taylor, Preston and Andrew. He was also survived by his wife Sharon of 56 years.
