Obituary of Harvey L. Treichel

Harvey Treichel passed away on June 10, 2024. He was born and raised in Lodi and attended local schools. After graduating from high school in 1958 he enlisted in the United States Army and served in Japan. 

Harvey was well known in Galt, Elk Grove and Sacramento in his trade as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Even after retirement he was sought out to do special projects and he was always ready and willing no matter what the job. 

He enjoyed attending local car shows and showing his 1940 Chevy Pickup "Little Pearl." 

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents Johanna Treichel and Chris Treichel. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kathy, daughter Michelle Sterling (Larry), son Phillip Treichel (Sheryl), granddaughter Tyler Treichel, sisters Arlene Treichel and Cornelia Treichel-Rocque (James). 

Interment will be private.
