Uncle Bob was so humble and kind. He taught me how the shoot my first rifle at the Gun and Bocce Club. He said, "make the gun be a part of you", which is so true to making more accurate shots. His humor was so studdle, but hilarious.
I'm so glad I was able to see him with you Jodi! He was doing so well and smiling (as usual). I know he's so happy with our Lord and with no more pain. I'll shoot trap with him again in Heaven.... :) maybe y'all will too. :)
Love you Jodi, Gina and Judy! I'm praying for your comfort and peace.....

Uncle Bob, I hope didn’t hide it, I considered myself to be his favorite niece. I also told him if I wasn’t, please never let me know.
I’ve known Bob for more than half of my life. He was always up for a good time. He was very generous, with his love, friendships, and the love for his children and grandchildren. One of my favorite memories of Bob happens to be not about me at all. One weekend, while spending time at their home, Madi fell asleep (she was still in diapers) In the most contortionist type of position I’ve ever seen. Bob was getting ready to take her to the bed. I asked if he needed my help. Before he answered me, he just stopped and was looking at her and said, “Gosh, I love that little girl”. Most men don’t tell their feelings so easily. It’s just something for whatever reason. I’ll never forget.
The memory that I recall at this moment is one Fourth of July, uncle, Jerry, and uncle Bob motorcycles up to Sparks to join my husband, Dennis, and myself on a ride. Every time we stopped Bob had the most wittiest remarks I’ve ever heard. I couldn’t tell you one of them to save my soul, but I remember all of us laughing our heads off. I will miss you Bob I love you. I thank you for the good memories.
