I'm so sorry for your loss. Having been your friend since grade school (Lakewood) i feel like I’ve known your mom longer than you!! Growing up, your mom would NOT let us stay alone - and I remember that big long car of hers (Impala?) and going everywhere (stores, friends, family, EVERYWHERE). She was fun. I’m truly sorry for the lack of time to say your goodbyes while she was alive, but you can say them to her anytime; she’ll hear you. There’s no expiration date on talking with her. God is good - he makes that conversation possible!
