Obituary of Edna Ann Fischer

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother Edna Ann Fischer. Mom
passed away peacefully Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the age of 93. She was born
January 27, 1930, in Venturia, North Dakota, to Emil and Anna Sayler (Meidinger.) Her
husband, William (Bill) Adam Fischer, passed 9 years earlier. She leaves behind sons,
Douglas (Kathryn), and Terry (Shelly). Daughters Sarah (Stan), and Linda (Vlado).
Twelve grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. And
brothers Mel and Verne. She spent her life dedicated to her family, and loved nothing
more than cooking wonderful meals for family and friends. Both Edna and Bill were
long-time members of the Lodi Moose Lodge and Dakota Club, and loved traveling in
their RV. She was thankful for a full and long life filled with wonderful experiences, a
loving family, her Lutheran faith, and thoughtful and compassionate caregivers.
