Obituary of Ronald G. Baumback
Lodi resident formally of Denver, Colorado, Ronald “Ron” Gene Baumback, Sr. passed away Saturday, October 14th at the age of 65, with his family at his side. He was born March 14, 1958 in Marysville, California to parents Roy and Helen Baumback, the youngest of seven children. Ron worked as a skilled die cutter and supervised fabricating for many years. He was a kind, loving and gentleman man who never judged or talked bad about anyone. In his free time he enjoyed building model cars, supporting the Dallas Cowboys, drinking a Budweiser and listening to oldies. He was an awesome barbecuer, and loved spending time and joking around with family and friends. He will be extremely missed.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Fernando Miranda. He is survived by his lifelong love, Juanita Baumback; children, Sonia Klipfel, Ronald “Ronnie” Baumback Jr., Ruben Baumback (Keiko) and Morayna Hawthorne (Tori); grandchildren, Anthony, Alicia, Jordan, Azalea, Camellea, Jadynn, Juanita, Juliana, Leticia, Fernando, Jr., Moses, and Sailor; siblings, Felix, George, John, Mike, Kenny, and Audrey; and his loving mother-in-law, Maria Ramirez.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 23rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. With a vigil service at 5:30 p.m at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave., in Lodi. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 24th at 10:00 a.m., also at Lodi Funeral Home, followed by interment at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 & Harney Ln., in Lodi.
