I'm really at a loss for words. Not because your not worth it but because it's so hard trying to do your memory justice. I could not have asked for a better partner in life for my Dad or a better Nana and Gigi for my babies. You loved us all as your own and we did the same for you. No one can compare to your Thanksgiving feast. And as we embark on our first without you I can't help but feel selfish and want you back. Wishing I would have been there more. I hope you know how much I loved you and how much your leaving us has left a enormous void. You had a way of speaking your mind and offering your opinion wanted or not but only because you cared. And how can I forget how freely you used that F bomb and that middle finger. That's what made you YOU! BUT what I will never ever forget is your love for my Dad and his for you. You will forever be missed and forever loved until we are all a family again. I love you Glenda and thank you for loving me!

One of my favorite memories of mom was at my first Thanksgiving and I had just found out I was pregnant with Taylor, she said come into this kitchen you need to learn how to make Russ’s favorite dessert. I continue the tradition to this day. Pretzel Salad for dessert every Thanksgiving amd Christmas. It’s not good bye mom, it’s till we meet again.

I met Glenda right after her 40th birthday. We became instant friends.
I guess you could have called us Frick and Frack because in most of our spare we were always together.
Wherever I was so was Glenda and vise versa.
We both had a lot in common from being divorced with each having sons born just 2days apart.
We did everything together from being Bingo partners, bowling partners, travel league partners and pinochle partners. We both loved to bowl and play pinochle.
The best thing that happened to Glenda was when she married Ken.
He was and will always be her eternal partner.
So Frick from Frack till we meet again

Farewell my Dear, Dear friend. Or should I say, "partner in crime "!! Boy did we have fun back in the day, planning those bowling banquets, making chipmunk heads, coming up with a script, making costumes.
I remember your sister and Tuddy and I Teasing you about your dates with Kenny, trying to get all the details, lots of laughter, lots of alcohol. Planning the stripper for Gladie"s 80th Birthday , boy did we have fun ! I will always be proud of being in "that group" with you !!

Glenda was such a wonderful mother! This is how I will remember her! We are judged by our works, and her legacy is her wonderful son. She loved Ked and his family with all that she was. She was his/their biggest fan!
I worked with Ked and have always admired the man he is! Glenda gave him what he needed to become that man! His attitude, his work ethic, his dependability, his compassion for people, comes from his upbringing! He had a wonderful mother instilling all of these qualities! ❤️
I went to high school with Glenda, and loved her spirit. She was always kind and compassionate. She is going to be missed by all of us!
Job well done, Glenda. You are no longer in pain. You are loved, my friend!!

How do you pick only one memory from a lifetime of them. Bowling was the sport where we met and from there our friendship grew. After Rod and I moved East we weren’t able to get together often, but once a year we tried to vacation together. Bowling tournaments were the excuse, but ,oh my, what fun we had. The best times though were when we just sat around talking and being together. Always so much laughter that your sides would hurt. I will miss all of that.

I met Glenda in the 1990's when Kedron and my daughter Lynette were dating and eventually married. I can't praise her enough for the wonderful job she did in raising her son as a single mother. We now share two granddaughters whom she loved immensely.
She was a loving and special person to friends and family members across many states.

Sissy,
I can not imagine what my life would have been had you not been in it. it would have been very different. We have always been there for each other. We shared great joy, great heart aches and great times. Looking back through the years I have great memories to hold on to. Like the
time in Kiddy where you left me in the pasture with the bull charging me. I cried because I thought you left me, but you went to get Dad who saved me just in time. Or the times we used to throws rocks of the cliffs at the cars down on the highway, we got our butts whipped.
Even as a pesky kid you would take care of me. I remember you had squirreled away some of your lunch money for about 2 weeks, enough to buy
Pepsi and a candybar and me some penny candy. You asked me to go to the store for you. I was only around 6 and you were 11. I went and got your soda, candy bar and my penny candy. I was eating the candy on the way home from the store and dropped your Pepsi, boy were you mad! You went to kick my behind and as I put my hand back to protect my bottom you broke my pinky finger. You felt so bad that you shared your candy bar with me. To this day when the weather changes and my finger hurts with arthritis, I think back and chuckle.
I remember all the times you had to brush my hair before school. If i wiggled a bit you would pull my hair so hard because I had the straight hair and you did not.
Or all the times living 2000 miles apart we bought the same clothes. You would take a picture or come to visit and have the exact same top or
pair of shoes that I had.
You have always been my cheerleader sitting on the sidelines cheering me on.
You were always the "Mama Bear" of the family, people could mess with you all the wanted, however, mess with her family and the claws came out.
You stepped up when Mother died and were the rock for Gary, Steven and I, you also took care of Gary and Steve's arrangements.
I will never have another sister and best friend like you, we knew each other so well that we knew each other's thoughts.
Rest In Peace my beloved Jean Jean, this is not good bye, but I will see you soon. I love you and miss you.
