Obituary of Eugene Louis Rossi Jr.

Eugene L. Rossi Jr., age 86, passed away on April 26, 2023 in Lodi California. He
was born in Stockton, California on June 3, 1936 to Edna and Eugene Rossi, Sr. His
siblings are Ann Rossi (deceased) and Shirley Isola.
He served in the National Guard for nine years. Eugene worked for Pacific Motor
Trucking in Stockton for 35 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He
also worked for Lodi Unified School District as Head Custodian at Live Oak School.
Eugene was a devoted member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Lodi.
He was an outdoorsman and loved camping, fishing, hunting, water and snow
skiing. Some of his favorite places to fish were the West Walker River and Twin
Lakes near Bridgeport, California.
Eugene is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bernice Rossi (Schuber), daughter
Jennie Derosier (Tim); son Steven Rossi (Ana); granddaughter Vanessa and sister
Shirley Isola (David). He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother,
family member and friend to many and will be greatly missed.
Viewing at Lodi Funeral Home on Monday, May 8 th , 12-4pm. Funeral at Lodi
Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 9 th, 10am. The committal will follow at Cherokee
Memorial Park.
