Betty Anna Christensen, 100-years-old, a lifelong resident ofLodi, died April 21, 2023 at Home Sweet Home residential facilityin Lodi, CA. She was preceded in death (Feb. 3, 1995) by her husband of 53 years, Gerald Lee Christensen. Mrs. Christensen was born in Lodi, CA, April 11, 1923, to William H. Webb and Hilda Webb. Her late brother was William H. Webb Jr. Her son Timothy Wayne Christensen, daughter-in-law Donna Christensen,
grandson Timothy W. Christensen Jr., grandson Joseph Brian Christensen, granddaughter-in-law Aimee Snow, and four grandchildren Mia, Madelyn, Clara, and Brooke survive her. Mrs. Christensen graduated from Lodi High School in 1941 and began working for Pacific Bell Telephone Company. She married her husband on Nov. 22, 1942, while he was serving in the Army Air Corp during World War II.

Following the war they both worked for Pacific Bell Phone Company. In 1952, they adopted their baby boy Timothy. Gerald Christensen was active in the Lodi Masonic Lodge No. 256, Scottish Rite and Shrine. He was past master of Lodi Masonic Lodge as well as inspector of the 222nd Masonic District. Mrs. Christensen and her husband also served as Matron and Patron for two terms at Eastern Star No. 150 in Lodi, CA. Both were active youth advisors for DeMolay boys and Rainbow girls. Lodi Funeral Home provides funeral arrangements. There will be no public services or visitation. Inurnment is private.
