Obituary of Gloria Marie Brosnikoff
Gloria Brosnikoff, 95, peacefully entered into eternal rest on the evening of Friday, April 7, 2023. Gloria
was born in San Francisco on November 7, 1927, to the late Assalone and Carolina Bianchi. She met her
future husband, Lloyd Brosnikoff in San Francisco and they married on March 5, 1955. She worked at
Pacific Bell in San Francisco for many years until 1959 when Gloria and Lloyd moved to Lodi. Gloria
worked for Lodi Unified School District in the cafeteria at Leroy Nichols School until retirement.
Gloria was an avid member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 22 for 57 years where she served as
president and held other office designations over the years. She was passionate about her work with the
American Legion and loved the red, white and blue.
Gloria was passionate about her faith, and rarely missed Mass or her bible study. She loved the ocean,
lighthouses, and Christmas but above all, she loved her family and friends. All were welcome at Gloria’s
house.
Gloria is preceded in death by her parents and husband, her sister Lillian San Filippo, and daughter
Debra Hazelet. She is survived by her son-in-law Ken Hazelet; four grandchildren Mary Lizarraga
(Emmanuel), Hannah Hazelet, Matthew Hazelet (Kimberly) and Samuel Hazelet; nine great-
grandchildren Hailey, Angelina, Dominic, Elliana, Kallidora, Zayne, Jack, Nora and Carter; and many
nieces and nephews. She was deeply loved by many and will be deeply missed.
