Obituary of Terrie Hedden

Terrie passed away peacefully in her home on March 2, 2023. She is survived by her three children Leslie Schelldorf (Jeff), Spencer Hedden (Alison) and Justen Hedden. She leaves behind five granddaughters, partner Randy Savig, her brother Tim Tewksbury and numerous family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Alice Tewksbury and her husband Ken Allen. Terrie grew up in Santa Rosa, CA and attended Montgomery High School. She graduated from UC Davis and continued her education at Towson State College in Baltimore and Sacramento State. Terrie was a teacher, vice-principal, and principal for many years in Stockton, Galt and Lodi. Traveling was her passion. Her adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of many including her granddaughters whom she hoped would follow in her footsteps and travel the world. She will be remembered for her positivity, optimism, and persistence in challenging the status quo. Terrie was an incredible mom, partner and friend and she will be loved and missed forever. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her life can make a donation in her name to AAUW.
