Obituary of Dennis Paul Frame
It is with heavy hearts we mourn the passing of Dennis “Denny” Paul Frame. Dennis was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in Feb 2022. He was surround by his wife and children in his final days at home.
Denny was born on May 2, 1952, in Sioux City, Iowa to Keith and Doris Frame. His family moved to southern California in the mid 50’s. Relocating to Lodi, CA in 1963. Denny was a member of the Local Carpenters union, installing dry wall for almost 40 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved making his famous beef jerky, pickled asparagus, pepper jelly and ribs, teaching his daughter how to perfect his recipes. It was one of his last words, “tell Laura to get that jerky out of the oven…. right now“ as they were making jerky together in his final days and he was no going to let her mess up his last
batch.
He was hard as steel, tough as nails, quick witted, always a jokester. Never missing a moment to mess with his friends and family. To know him was to love him. He was truly one of a kind.
He met the love of his life Debra in 1973. They married in Aug 1977 and raised their children Sandra, Laura and Erik. He was his daughters first love and his son’s first hero.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Terry and Ricky, sister Linda. He is now reunited with all that went before him.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie. Daughters Sandy (Justin), Laura (Mike), and son Erik (Ashlie). His grandchildren Tayt, Jaime, Layla, Lincoln, Lucas, Kyle, Aubrey, Mylynn, Camon and Taija and great grandson Bentley. His brother Dean (Sharon), father-in-law Earl, and numerous extended family members including sisters and brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family is honoring Denny’s wishes to not hold any services and instead take a family trip to the ocean to mourn and celebrate him privately. He will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to South Sacramento Kaiser Hospice.
