Obituary of Lois Holden

Lois Holden passed away on January 19, 2023 at 80 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, Edwin Holden. Lois was born in Washington state and spent much of her youth in the San Francisco Bay area before moving to Lockeford more than 55 years ago.

Lois was mother to five daughters, grandmother to ten, and great grandmother to nine.

Lois spent her professional career with Macys, starting with the Stockton store and transferring to the Modesto store at its grand opening. She spent many years as manager of the tabletop and fine china department.

Lois spent much of her time outside on her farm, taking pride in planning and tending her garden. As spring approaches, the family asks that you plant something special in your garden and take a quiet moment of reflection in her honor.
