Obituary of Keith Alan Clark
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved uncle Keith, everyone’s buddy buddy pal at 62 years old. Keith was born with Down Syndrome in Iowa but spent the majority of his life in Lodi. He didn’t let his diagnosis hold him back at all and he enjoyed playing basketball and was an athlete for many years in the Special Olympics. His real love however was performing, either hamming it up at family get togethers or preforming on stage at his school the Activity Center where he won many awards and accolades for his performances. Keith was always the life of the party and his nephews Ralph, Milo, Adam, and Benjamin always had fun getting into trouble with him at parties at grandpa’s house or camping at the family property in the foothills.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and June, his older brother Rex, and his nephew Daniel Orth all of Lodi. He is survived by his sister Roberta and niece Kim Orth of Texas, sister Sandra Mejia (and various nieces and nephews) of Sacramento, and his caregiver and sister-in-law Ruth Clark (and his niece and nephew Renee and Ralph) of Lodi. But he will be missed dearly by his great-nephew Little Ralphie, his lego building partner and cartoon watching buddy and his great-niece baby Maggie who also suffers with a genetic disorder.
Burial will be private for family at Lodi Memorial Cemetery where he will be interred with his mother and father. Keithy we miss you so much and can’t wait to hear you say to us again one day, “welcome home!”
In Loving Memory
Keith Clark
