Obituary of Carl Edward Morrison Jr.

On Wednesday, January 12th, Carl Edward Morrison Jr., loving father, grandfather of four and great grandfather of five, passed away at the age of 81. Carl was born on February 26, 1941 in Oakdale, California to Carl and Eleanor Morrison of Hickman.

Carl worked for Foster Farms for 25 years. In 1979 he opened the Barnyard restaurant in Turlock, California. In 1982 he started farming walnuts and grapes in Clements, California, for 34 at Berryhill Family Vineyards.

Carl loved his dogs. Tosh and Lucy were special to him. He was a member of the Shelby American Automobile Club and loved racing his Ford Shelby GT Mustang named Sue.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Eleanor, his sister Patricia Orcus and his son Carl Morrison III. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Lorinda and Casey Stanford of Carthage, Texas, his sister Sharon Virtue of Sweet Home, Oregon, brother Norman Morrison of Don Pedro, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
