Obituary of Annella Margaret Schlenker

On January 8, 2022 at 90 years old, our beautiful mother was called to be with her Heavenly Father.  Mom was devoted to her family and her faith.  Mom was born in Harvey, North Dakota on the family farm.  We enjoyed hearing all her stories about growing up on the farm.

 

Mom worked at Lodi Memorial Hospital for 35 years as a nurse’s aide in surgery and in the nursery department and was very proud that she was able to give each of her grand children their very first bath.

 

She took great pride in her grand children and great grandchildren and always said she felt very lucky to be able to live long enough to see all of them.

 

Mom enjoyed cooking and baking German food for her family and Christmas at Mom’s was always special.

 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Delfred her parents, Leonard and Alma Prom, 3 sisters and 2 , brothers.  She is survived by her daughter, Idella Nichols, daughter Brenda Wright (David) and son Richard Schlenker (Evonne), 6 grand children and 15 Great grandchildren, 1 brother and 1 sister.
