Coack Swiimley had a profound impact on my life and I am heartsick that I did not tell him before his passing. Seriously one of the pivotal moments in my life was coack swimley tellin me I better quit skipping class if I wanted to play football - and he would be checking on me. That quick conversation and admonition had a profound effect. I quit cutting school from that day forward. I have. MANY people to thank for helping me make better decisions, but honestly I am not sure any of the had a bigger impact on my life. Rest in peace coach, I am sorry and wish I had told you this face to face before your passing. I am a better man because of you!
