Obituary of Jorge Alejandro Hernandez

Jorge Alejandro Hernandez unexpectedly passed away at his home on September 23, 2021, at
the age of 46. He was born in Guadalajara, Mexico on April 19, 1975, to Esperanza Waldo.
Jorge grew up in Stockton and graduated from graduated from San Joaquin Delta College with
an A.A. and Associate Degree in Nursing in 2013. He was a dedicated Registered Nurse for 7
years. Prior to that, he was an Eligibility Worker with the El Concilio. Jorge was an avid Forty-
Niner fan. He enjoyed being outdoors, paddle boarding and riding his bike.
Jorge was married to Nadine M. Hernandez. They were blessed with a daughter, Celeste Marie
Hernandez, and a son, Alec Leopold Hernandez. He was also blessed with two granddaughters,
Cataleya Maria Ramos and Rosalyn Jovita Hernandez. He cherished his granddaughters and
loved every moment spent with them.
Jorge is survived by his wife Nadine, daughter Celeste, son Alec, grandchildren Cataleya and
Rosalyn; mother Esperanza; sister Cynthia Romero (Antonio); 3 nieces, 1 nephew and multiple
godchildren. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
The viewing (mask required) will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 1 – 5 PM at
Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave, Lodi, CA 95240. The Rosary and Memorial Service
will start at 5 PM.
Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 10 AM, St. Anne’s Roman Catholic
Church, 215 W. Walnut St, Lodi, CA 95240.
Family and friends are welcome to a Celebration of Life after the mass, from 1 – 5 PM at
American Legion Hall, 2020 Plymouth Rd, Stockton, CA 95204.
Jorge Alejandro Hernández falleció inesperadamente en su casa el 23 de septiembre de 2021, a
la edad de 46 años. Nació en Guadalajara Jalisco, México el 19 de abril de 1975, hijo de
Esperanza Waldo. Jorge creció en Stockton y se recibió de San Joaquin Delta College con un
título A.A. y otro en Asociado de enfermería en 2013. Fue enfermero registrado durante 7 años.
Antes de eso, fue un trabajador de elegibilidad con El Concilio. Jorge era un fanático de los
Forty-Niners. Le gustaba estar al aire libre, remar y andar en bicicleta.
Jorge estaba casado con Nadine M. Hernandez. Fueron bendecidos con una hija, Celeste Marie
Hernandez, y un hijo, Alec Leopold Hernandez. También fue bendecido con dos nietas,
Cataleya Maria Ramos y Rosalyn Jovita Hernandez. Quería a sus nietas y amaba cada momento
que pasaba con ellas.
A Jorge le sobrevive su esposa Nadine, su hija Celeste, su hijo Alec, sus nietas Cataleya y
Rosalyn; madre Esperanza; hermana Cynthia Romero (Antonio); 3 sobrinas, 1 sobrino y varios
ahijados. Fue amado profundamente, su familia y amigos lo extrañarán mucho.
El velorio (se requiere máscara) se llevará acabo el miércoles 6 de octubre de 2021, de 1 a 5 de
la tarde en Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave, Lodi, CA 95240. El rosario y el servicio
conmemorativo comenzarán a las 5 de la tarde.
La misa se celebrará el jueves 7 de octubre de 2021 a las 10 de la mañana en la Iglesia Católica
Romana de St. Anne, 215 W. Walnut St, Lodi, CA 95240.
