Obituary of Isaias Posas

Isaias Posas Rodriguez, aka Sallo, passed away on September 10, 2021 at the age of 54 years old. He grew up in Thornton and Galt and attended local schools. He enjoyed working on his cars, going to the casino, fishing, music, dancing, and spending time with his beloved family and friends. Sallo spent his early years working as a hair dresser where he enjoyed making other people look and feel beautiful (or handsome). He was the owner “Salon Sasha” which was named after his first born daughter. He relocated and did a complete turn in his career and dedicated the rest of his life in working with livestock and animal care. Sallo was a devoted grandfather, father, brother, and son. He was a great man and he will be greatly missed. He was intelligent, funny, hardworking, full of energy, and very very very good looking. (Yes, he was conceited). We will miss his sarcastic humor and words of wisdom. Sallo is survived by his mother Estela Posas; siblings Luis, Carmen, Jesus, Maria, Teresa, Ivan; his children Sasha, Isaias, Esther, Jenna; his granddaughter Ellie, and many nieces and nephews that loved him very much. He was proceeded in death by his father Luis Posas and son Marc Anthony. We know he is happily reunited with both his father and his son. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Lodi Funeral home located at 745 S. Fairmont Ave in Lodi. We will have a rosary in his honor at 3:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:30 am St. Christopher’s Catholic Church located at 950 S. Lincoln Way, in Galt. Burial will immediately follow at Galt-Arno Cemetery, 14180 Joy Dr, Galt.
