Bill, you are missed dear friend. I think we bumped heads once, which wasn’t easy since you were a foot taller than I. I think it was when we both reached for the same piece of food at a buffet table. I will remember your intelligence, sense of humor, your strength of conviction, support of friends and absolute devotion to family.
Happy to say on this occasion I am not 4 days behind you but expect to catch up with you one day at another buffet. Til then, may the grass roll out gently beneath you steps and birdies come often.
To Mary and daughters. Sympathies. Bill was a bigger than life kind of guy. I expect he will remain strong within you all. He always spoke of his family with affection and admiration. He was a proud Papa. Mary. I know he adores you still. He leaves behind more than a few good memories and intangibles that will linger on in our hearts and memories.
