Obituary of Candice Arlene Adams

Candice "Candee" Arlene Adams, age 66, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021. Candee was born Saturday, August 28, 1954 to Leander "Lee" and Frances (Seibel) Rund at Lodi Memorial Hospital; she lived in Lodi her entire life. Candee graduated at Lodi Academy in 1972 and received her AS from Delta College in 2007. She worked in the Lodi-Stockton community as a caregiver for elderly patients and served twenty consecutive years as an Election Officer. Attending both the English Oaks and Fairmont Seventh-Day Adventist churches, she loved studying the bible. Sharing her faith and participating in the Seventh-Day Adventist community was her greatest passion. Family, animals, and nature brought her joy. She enjoyed camp meetings, visiting beaches, and getting together with family. Her grandson Tyler and granddaughter Olivia were the highlight of her latter years. Candee was an excellent cook. She enjoyed cooking for her family and contributing to potlucks for family gatherings and church. She also loved sewing outfits and making blankets for her grandchildren. Candee became friends with nearly everyone she met. She loved to go out, visit, and chat with friends. Building and maintaining relationships was a huge part of her life. Candee had a very sweet heart and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Frances Rund, and two sisters, Dolly Kiesz and Gloria Yaw. Surviving are her children Christopher Faddis, Megan Barron, and Mark Adams, grandchildren Tyler and Olivia Barron, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, January 18, 2021 at 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lodi Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Monday, January 18, 2021 at 1:30pm in the Garden of Angels at Cherokee Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to attend.
