Obituary of Stanley C. Buchmiller

Stanley Charles Buchmiller went to be with his Savior on December 9, 2020 after battling Parkinson’s disease for many years. He was born in Lodi, California on December 18, 1935 to Otto and Thula (Reed) Buchmiller. He attended schools in Lodi, graduating from Lodi High in 1954. He served in the National Guard, U.S. Army Signal Corps, and 3 years in the reserves. He was also a charter member of Temple Baptist Church. He married Darlene Enzi on January 1, 1956. He worked for General Mills for 44 years. Stanley loved to camp and hunt until Parkinson’s kept him from doing so. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Otto Doyle Buchmiller, an infant son, Glen, and step-mother Esther Buchmiller. He is survived by his wife Darlene of 65 years, a brother Steven Buchmiller (Cavell), sons Dennis (Kathleen) and Rory (Marie), and a daughter, Rona Essex (Chuck). Grandchildren Carissa Campbell (Scott), Richelle & Janelle Buchmiller, Melanie Kollmeyer (Trevor), Christopher & Darrel Hintz, Charles Essex, two great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Buchmiller and Bernice Hagner, and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to doctors Hashimoto, Yao, and LaViola, Dycora Care Home, and Vitas Hospice.
