Gene R. Hancock was born in Los Angeles, CA., on July 25, 1940, and departed this life on November 27, 2020, in Sacramento CA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Eula and his brother Carl.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Ruth. He also leaves behind two sons, Chris and Andrew, his daughter Kimberly, six grandchildren and his brother Darrell. He had many other loving relatives and friends he admired.
Gene served the Los Angeles community as a Police Officer from 1963 to 1992; in 1958 he joined the Marine Reserves where he served his country for eight years.
Funeral services will be private by family at Cherokee Memorial Park.
